Snow Ghillie Suits

December 9th, 2009 by admin

Snow Ghillie Suits try to mimic snow and artic conditions, but if you think about it, snow is nothing like trees and leaves.  So why are snow ghillie suits made of thread when snow is smooth.  I understand that bushes and trees are leafy and dead grass looks like thread so that’s why ghillie suits are made of thread and jute.  But snow ghillie suits made of thread should be made of something that looks like snow.  That could be larger and flatter strips of burlap.  The problem is that snow suits need to be white and ghillie suits get dirty very easily.
