Mixed Martial Arts is not a mainstream sport in Australia just yet but i believe it will soon take off as the UFC or the ultimate fighting championships are due to hit town in late february. They will be hosting there first event in Australia and it has already been sold out. Currently in this country mma brisbane centre is probably the biggest and best martial arts club in the nation. This particular club has several champions and dominates all the competitions in Australia. Due to the belief that there will be an increase in popularity of the sport there will be many new gyms opening up and many coaches offering lessons in Martial arts.
