How to Be a Good Weightlifter

To become a successful weightlifter, among the first things you should do are determining your goals, understanding your body type, knowing how your medical history may affect your weightlifting endeavor and choosing the right weightlifting program to guide you through the process. Unless you have a good weightlifting program, you will never really build your muscles or get strength to your maximum because you will not be able to do the right exercises with the right intensity, frequency and duration. Do not make the most common mistakes that amateur weightlifters make – listening to too much hearsay and theories and basing them as the basis of their exercises.
