Foreclosure News Indicate Rise in Number of Distressed Homes in Sacramento
January 4th, 2010 by admin
According to foreclosure news, the number of foreclosed homes in Sacramento, California, in the third quarter of 2009 was 5,004. This represented a 12.5 percent rise when compared to the previous quarter. On the other hand, the number of defaults declined to 9,751 in the third quarter for an 8.7 percent reduction compared to the second quarter. Analysts believe that lenders have been trying to regulate the entry of foreclosures into the market by slowing down their foreclosure filings in the effort to defend the slight improvement in the market. In the whole of California, almost a million homes have been foreclosed since the beginning of the housing crisis in 2007. For more information goto http://bestforeclosurenews.com
