Is it a Valid Fear or a Panic Disorder?

Are you constantly on the edge, anxious or tense about something? Does your anxiety hinder your career, family duties and relationships? Are you constantly afraid of something but can’t figure out what it is you are afraid of? Do you sometimes think that something awful is about to happen even though you don’t know what it is?

Do you avoid driving in the freeway during rush hour for fear of getting into an accident? Does your heart suddenly race and pound like you’re about to get a heart attack? Do you hyperventilate or find it very hard to breathe all of a sudden even if you did not do anything strenuous? If you answered yes to most of these questions then you probably have a panic attack disorder.
