My friend just came from her maternity leave and her baby didn’t want to latch on to her when she came back. No matter how she tried to feed the baby, he tried to avoid latching. After a few weeks, she had Breastfeeding Engorgement. Lots of mothers in the world today have this, because they do not get to nurse as often as they should due to work load. Another reason might be that they do not get to extract the milk as effectively as possible. In breastfeeding engorgement, the mother’s breast swell up and a buildup of fluids occur. The breast then becomes swollen and painful. Most of the women think that this disease is just exclusive to a few women and they do not find this to be as alarming as puerperal fever or childbed fever, but it is actually of equal importance. It may develop to other breast infections, such as mastitis. I am actually trying to have a baby. I am gathering info from different resources to avoid any complication that might happen. Nursing a baby isn’t a joke, and knowing information that would help prevent any of these would be really beneficial.

If you are at or near your due date, maternity acupressure is a great way to induce.  It is extremely effective in inducing labor, relaxing the mother, reducing the level of pain and speeding up the labor process.
