cheap mp3 players
February 23rd, 2010 by admin
So you’re looking to get cheap mp3 players, eh. I’ll tell you to be careful. I’d actually recommend that you buy an earlier generation or used higher end mp3 player than going with a brand new one that’s ultra cheap. For example, ipods are just superior to most other mp3 players on the market. Getting something else just isn’t going to provide the same experience. Microsoft does make a decent one as does Sony but that’s really about it. At the budget end, as low as I’d go would be the Sansa Plus. But really you can just go to Craigslist and find a used one any day of the week, get a good deal and get a good mp3 player all at the same time.

How To Use Bitdefender The Best Possible Way
February 20th, 2010 by admin
Bitdefender for those that are not aware of the power of this popular antivirus software. Bitdefender has achieved top ratings for antivirus software with various awards to back up it’s quality. You may get scared of having your personal information stolen when you compare your antivirus software to this one. This is because antivirus programs slow your computer down by using so much of your system resources unlike bitdefender. This combats the typical problem antivirus softwares available have of taking up a significant amount of memory on your pc. Whether your aware of it or not, many of the software bundles out there use much more memory than is needed. This is one of the reasons bitdefender has been highly rated by many antivirus program testers. Its use of system resources and memory beats other competing products by leaps and bounds in comparison.

Cell Phone Ringtones
February 19th, 2010 by admin
These days almost everybody has a cell phone, and every cell phone comes with various ringtones that are either specific to that phone, or that have been downloaded from the Internet. It can be interesting, while you’re walking through a store or some other kind of public area, to hear the different rings that come from other people’s phones. Some of them are pretty cool and a lot of them will give you a chuckle. Of course there are some that are distasteful too. One thing for sure is that when a ringtone goes off, everybody looks to see who it belongs to. It can be rather humorous to see how many people have the same tones as they all scramble for their phones.

Try to Make Your Visited and Non-Visited Anchor Text Links a Different Colour
February 17th, 2010 by admin
it’s a good idea to distinguish your visited and non-visited anchor links on your website to give your visitors an idea of where they’ve already been on your website. Not only that, but it gives returning visitors an indication of what’s new as the new content will be clearly visible by the link colour (they haven’t clicked there before). This is a really basic usability tip that many people overlook. Typically website templates have this as a default setting (different colours for visited and non-visited links), so you should not change these settings - they are there for a very good reason.

Storing Information
February 17th, 2010 by admin
I have been trying to get my husband to sign up for carbonite for the past few months since I first saw an ad on TV for the service. He wouldn’t do it as he was worried about the security of our information. The other day his younger brother called and was upset. His computer had crashed and he lost all of his files, his pictures and his saved e-mails. After hearing this, my husband decided it was time to look for one of these services. He pulled up the carbonite website to see what was offered. Once he realized they encrypt all information twice before storing it he was hooked. He signed up immediately and now we both feel much better.

February 16th, 2010 by admin
John has had this computer for about seven months. Lately whenever John starts the computer and opens a software program, xp freezes. John does not know what to do about it and he is getting very frustrated. John called his computer friend, Brett. Brett told John that he would come over and look at his computer on Saturday. When Brett came over he discovered that John was not running any registry cleaner software. Brett told John that there are some good software programs that will keep his windows cleaned. Brett gave John a couple of websites to go to and read about the programs that are offered.
