Why bother with professional wedding photography?

I’ve come to the conclusion that in this recession, with costs of our wedding already racking up to nearly £25k, (and we haven’t even booked our honeymoon!) we’re going to have to make some sacrifices.  Well it cant be the venue.  We’ve already sent invitations out so cant reduce the number of guests to our 3 course wedding breakfast.  And I reeeally don’t want to cancel the horse and cart… what I’m absolutely in 2 minds about is whether or not to book professional wedding photography.  Cant do without it though because on the other hand why spend all that to not be able to look back on it all!
