Late Advertising

Why is it that late at night there are always infomercials advertising to come down to their Used Autos Dealership and get the car of your dreams? I never understand the logic at running an add like that. We all know that the dealerships are closed at 1am, and will not reopen for another 9 or so hours. By then the viewers have gone back to slumber and when awaken, they hardly would remember what infomercial they were watching while half asleep. Those that are serious or who were wide awake, may have written down the name and number, and will be sure to follow up the next business day.
